Utopia

My idea of a Utopia is very simple, but to some may seem very unrealistic. My utopia consists of living in the country. Where there are wide open fields, farms, and forests. The big cities need to go and it should just stay country. Living in the country would be more relaxing then living in the city. Everyone would be making their own food and there would also be one designated spot in the world, where everything you need, material wise, is made. Almost like a seperate island just for that, this way you never see it and have to deal with the city noise. There will also be no rice burners and everything will run off of grass instead of fuel, which means the fuel would be free.
Everyone will be able to live a carefree life, being happy and stress free. All the borders will be closed and there will be no more immigration, to save on living space and money.

Memoir

The memoir i have chosen is Beyond Band of Brothers War Memoirs of Major Dick Winters. It is a very powerful piece because it talks about the experiences of war and what the soldiers actually go through. They talk about the suffering and hardships of war along with some memories. I have enjoyed the reading so far, because it is something that I find interesting. I love reading about the war from a soldiers point of view rather then a historian. The memoir is about what really happened, not whats put in text books.
